What’s Yoke Ends?

Yoke ends, also called a clevis yoke or clevis ends, are yoke fittings usually assembled to the end of a rod, pipe or tube. Once it is secured, the yoke is attached with a clevis pin to mounting point. Baoding Guokun can manufacture the SAE J493 yoke clevis ends in carbon steel 1045 or other steel as per your drawings. Most customer would like to buy the forged yoke end becuase the forging clevis yoke are significantly stronger due to the steel’s improved grain structure from the forging process. And compared with the cast yoke end, the drop forged yoke clevis can withstand repeated loading cycles without failling as easily as casting yoke hardware. But when strength requirements are less demanding and cost is the primary concern, you also can choose the casted yoke end produced by Baoding Guokun.

Investment casting is an industrial metal casting process based on lost-wax precision casting, generally used for producing complex-shaped metal components that require tighter tolerances, thinner walls and better surface finish than other sand cast parts. Drop forged clevis process:

Drop forging is a highly valued metal forging process that uses a pair of impression dies and a heavy hammer to form and compress metal bars or billets into complex shapes. The steel forged clevis end yoke are with high density, good mechanical properties and wear resistance, compared with casting rod end yoke. The forged material for forging clevis is 34CrMo, 42CrMo, 20NiCrMo, AISI 4340, AISI 4140, AISI 8630, S355J2G3, 1045, 20#, H13 and other required steel.
